Job description:
This vacancy for a Diagnostic Sales Developer is an exciting expansion to further support our franchisees and customers with our Scantools and associated technical products as we travel along our customer success programme. The role would very much suit a high-level technician who wishes to remain within the industry, supporting technicians and workshops with the resources of a global brand-leader behind them.
Our vacancy is to cover Northern England/Scotland and you will be expected to travel widely in this region as part of this role. You’ll be homebased and provided with a company vehicle to travel to our customers. You’ll be required to travel 2 or 3 days a week as well as overnight stays away from home.
You’ll possess a strong knowledge of vehicle technology including the usage of diagnostic products, whether OEM or aftermarket.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
· Providing technical & sales support to our Diagnostic products
· Working closely with our Snap-on Tools franchisees
· Coaching days with our franchisees, incorporating the demonstration of products to customers
· Performing product training to franchisees and groups of customers
· Supporting trade shows as required
Technical Skills Requirement:
· High level of vehicle systems knowledge
· Solid PC understanding with a flair for technology
· Able to communicate with all levels of business
Experience Requirements:
· You’ll be used to, and comfortable with, coaching people with new equipment
· You’ll have great attention to detail and be driven by results
· You’ll be a team-player who is equally happy working alone
